Frozen Delights: Pizza
I always keep a frozen pizza on hand, because it is LIFE! Yes, I could just order a pizza or even make one myself, but I honestly don’t want to and refuse to force myself to do anything outside of transitioning (translation: moving and starting a new job). I won’t lie to you: I usually always have a frozen pizza waiting just in case…
Why frozen pizza? A couple of reasons:
While I was still in school, I would get together with a good friend of mine once a month to enjoy a frozen pizza and 2BuckChuck as a way to decompress and talk about everything happening in our lives.
Momma would always buy pizza once our move was over. It was celebratory and easy because no one was cooking for a couple of days after!
Lastly, Dad would always have Hot Pockets for me...maybe they were just for him, but I enjoyed them anyway!
I think I have fully covered how much I love pizza so I never need a reason to enjoy it. But frozen pizza is just a different love. Frozen pizza brings me comfort, reminds me everything will settle, and that all will be well again. Frozen pizza is love-- from friends and family. Frozen pizza just is...and there are ways to #goROGUE as well!

Add some seasonings: oregano, pepper flakes, garlic powder are my go-tos...but there is so much more to have fun with!
Add more cheese - enough said.
Add some fresh veggies. I typically go for some garlic or baby spinach.
Anywho! Next time you are rolling down that frozen food aisle, take a look at some of the pizzas and have some fun. We have come a long way from pepperoni, supreme, and cheese. There are more than just Digiorno and Red Baron for you to choose from. I currently have a couple of different types in my freezer, and am glad for the quick break I am taking from the kitchen. I promise to get back to it...but for the moment FROZEN PIZZA is LIFE.
Happy Cooking Y’all :)
